The customer friend wanted wire earrings and a longer necklace. It required removing very old glue and string from these Italian glass beads. It also required many texts and photos sent back and forth for this project, choosing types of beads, clasps, and colors of metals, and I added more crystals as spacers. National Hummingbird Day!! Let's celebrate my favorite friend in nature. My spirit animal, and the reason I named my business. We rescued a baby Hummingbird many years ago and it stayed all night in a little handmade bed my daughter made, right by my head. We had a slumber party, of deep sleep. So meaningful. The next morning I took it outside and let it sip from nearby flowers. I put it on a branch and it flew up on a high wall. It had gained enough strength to keep going. What can you do for your Hummingbirds? 1. Plant Flowers they love. 2. Clean your feeders with soap, and sometimes bleach and water. 3. Never use red dye. 4. Use only natural white sugar. 5. 1 part sugar to 5 parts water. 6. Speak to them and make them feel safe. They talk to us with clicks and chirps. They'll tell you when they're hungry!
